A competitive game

 

Following Rovers' 1-1 draw at Deepdale last night Gary Bowyer was focusing his attention on the progression in levels of fitness displayed by his players, and also bouyed by the intensity, sharpness and confidence.

The only matter of concern for the boss was seeing DJ Campbell hobble off the pitch in the first half following a 50-50 challenge, 10 minutes after the striker had equalised for Rovers reacting quickly to Todd Kane's parried shot.
