Grant Hanley says it's a massive honour to be made captain of Blackburn Rovers, a role which he has accepted willingly and one that he's determined to play with pride.

The Scottish international who scored his first goal of the season against Blackpool at the weekend is determined to use this opportunity and responsibility to improve his own game and help steer us towards our top six target.
